MOUNT TYPES: For inside mounted vertical blinds, a deduction of approximately 0.4" is taken to ensure a proper fit within the window frame. Inside mounted blinds require a minimum frame depth of 2.4" for secure installation. If your window frame depth is less than 2.4", please select an outside mount. Outside mounts are often used when there is insufficient frame depth for an inside mount. Our window shades come with all necessary mounting hardware for both inside and outside mounting.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1. Measure the inside frame width at the top, middle, and bottom, and record the smallest of the three measurements. Deduct 0.4" from this number to determine your inside width when ordering. Step 2. Measure the height at the left, middle, and right side, and record the smallest of the three measurements. Deduct 0.4" from this number to determine your inside height when ordering.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1. Measure the outside frame width and add 8" to determine the outside mount width. Step 2. For a French window, measure from 2.4" above the top window frame to a point 0.4" above the ground. For a windowsill window, measure from 2.4" above the top window frame to a point 4" below the bottom window frame. The recommended overlap allows for appropriate coverage and avoids any light gaps.

MEASUREMENT: As our product is made to order, it is crucial to follow the measurement instructions carefully. Our shades can be customized from 32" to 100" wide and 20" to 120" tall. OPEN OPTIONS: We offer two opening options: single opening and opposite opening. When you place your order, we will make it a single opening, and you can decide to open it to the left or right after receiving the product, depending on the mounting direction. If you prefer an opposite opening, you can contact customer service, and this service is free.

ORDER CONFIRMATION: We can customize vertical blinds up to 1/16th of an inch. Order the closest size, and we will send you an email within 24 hours to confirm the window information. Please provide us with the confirmation within 48 hours. If we do not receive a reply, we will proceed with the size without any adjustments.
